VAM Systems is currently looking for Physical Security – CCTV and Access Control Engineer for our Qatar operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:
Minimum Experience:
The last recent 5 to 7 years in same field.Oil and Gas experienceOEM Certification in related filedAny previous work within Qatar with law 9 for CCTV or any experience in the Qatar QP industrial zones+5 years hands on experience of implementing, administering and configuration of Lenel OnGuard Systems, Lenel’s Controller and Readers series, Lenel’s NVR, Pelco Camera series.In depth knowledge on ACS and CCTV such as HID Readers, RFID, iClass/MultiClass Cards / Reader, Biometric Fingerprint Reader, Controller and Reader Interfaces, EM Door Lock, ATEX Camera, DVR, NVR, Infrared and Night Vision etc.Knowledge in Telecommunication such as Media Gateways, LAN, IP networking fundamentals, digital / analog video signal, serial communications and wiringsKnowledge in Oil and Gas safety hazard standard for electronic device such as ATEX standard, EIC Flame Retardant and Fire Resistance standard, IS equipment etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
Cs. in Telecommunication /Electric/computer engineering or National Diploma and relevant experienceCertification to work with Lenel On-guard systems
Basic Role:
Design physical security systems based on international and industry standards such as ISO27000, Qatar MOI recommendations and QP RLIC best practices.Implement and support related systemsMaintains the highly technical and logical configuration of ACS and CCTV system technologies.Deliver requested configuration change or adjustment to meet business needs.Ensures high availability configuration and service quality is documented and tested on a regular basis.Ability to interact and support with physical security systems such as boom barriers, turnstile gates and road blockers.Ability to integrate command and control systems within security frameworkManage and support servers and storages, includes report generation, alarm linkage, recorded video playback, and necessary adjusts configuration to meet business needs.Manage and support services and machines with Microsoft operating systemsMaintains accurate record and up to date equipment inventories and documents of equipment and software assignmentsCommunicate and escalate ACS and CCTV Systems service issues to Senior Staff in order to resolve quickly and efficientlyPeriodic check of backup file (Database and Recorded video) for both Access Control and CCTV system.

Joining time frame: 1 month
