Required Fabrication Shop Planner/Production Planner.
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings. This includes items such as drawing projection, bills of materials, tolerances and welding symbols. Reviewing the fabrication package upon receipt for general constructability. Contact the issuer of the package for clarification as require. The ability to utilize Oracle,Primavera software for planning
production jobs. This includes the set-up and preparation of job travellers for the direction shop floor production. Check required materials, hardware and parts against current on hand inventory. The ability to accurately prepare orders in a timely manner for any required commercial parts, hardware or raw materials for purchasing. The ability to develop a production schedule and plan labor & equipment resources. Identify any potential labor resource or manufacturing equipment workflow bottlenecks. Follow job/project’s progress through production to assure that the schedule, quantity and deliverable match the order. If any issues are identified contact the appropriate resources for resolution.
