Requirements:
Draftsman with specialization in Joinery & Fit-out.
Degree in Engineering or technical degree with a focus on CAD and production
5+ Years experience in Joinery and fitout production of shop drawings
Strong English speaking and writing skills, Arabic a plus
Job description
Liaise with architects, engineers, and estimators to gather production, design, and costing information to produce the shop drawings
Calculate dimensions, weight limitations and requirements in materials from physical site conditions
Ability to describe joinery production methods step-by-step including equipment and software types to be used
Prepare and review rough sketches and review them along with the engineering team
Create detailed workshop drawings with computer-aided design CAD software
Identify potential operational issues and redesign shop drawings/design intent for joinery to be produced correctly
